Traccar and OpenGTS terminate device connections and turn bytes into positions. Wialon and Navixy do that and much more, as a product you license. Routly does not do it at all — it reads from whatever does. Answer that first and most of this list stops being a candidate.

Getting out of the one you have
Migration is rarely the technical problem it looks like. Each of these is about the part that actually bites — a retention policy, a renewal window, a regulator, a hardware bill.
Leaving Wialon
Their own retranslator forwards live telemetry onward, so nothing in a vehicle is touched.
Leaving Samsara
Dash-cam footage lives as long as the subscription. Pull it before you give notice.
Leaving Verizon Connect
The renewal window closes 60 to 90 days before the term ends. Start with the calendar.
Leaving Motive
The six-month records obligation is the carrier’s, not the vendor’s. Export first.
Leaving Geotab
The GO device runs without MyGeotab, so the usual hardware bill may not exist.
